The lake is good also. You can fish the piers or the dock at the boat ramp. Walking the shore either side of the boat docks (by the ramp) is good for big gills and smallies. No license needed if fishing from shore in the park. Anywhere else on the lake requires a Texoma license. The river on the TX side (if you don't wade) requires a TX license and on the OK side an OK license. If you step foot in the water you must have an OK license also.

get some 4" sassy shads and chunk em early and late off the point out in front of the fina station.
VERY rocky, hard to get down there for old people and kids.

go early.... to get a spot.

any white/chart grubs will do in a pinch. we caught em on big rooster tails too. but the bigger fish came on sassy shads.

dont try fishing the bottom here. you will get hung up every cast.

there is a peir in the park that produced for me a month ago some nice striper....ask at the office and they will direct you to the point. Can't remember the name but take the left road and it is the forth entrance on the right. The sign will say fishing peir

Thanks, was it near the sheltered camping spots and what did you use ? A lure or shad? I appreciate the help,hopefully my girl will actually see me catch a fish

Anyone know the depth off of the pier by the Fina station? Just curious, may head up to try for some of the gills a little later this month. I know we got hung up and lost a lot of sassy shad when the sandies were in there thick last month, due to the rocks.
