NOW that is too Funny... I doubt Tarponfly can guarantee a Godzilla. The best he could do is a Limit of Sandys. But that is nothing to a GODZILLA.

I got out there at about 6:40am and the parking lot was full! Went down to the pipe below firwheel and caught 5 sandies. 2 of them were big. One was 2+lbs and 15". The fish stopped biting at about 9am for us. I stayed until about noon. I moved around to several spots and saw lots of people catching tiny little yellow bass and keeping them! I thought that was strange. Why would you keep a 4" fish? I also got annoyed today at some of the non english speaking people who were casting right in my space. People out there really have no curtesy when it comes to giving people space. Also saw a kayaker and I think it was the guy from this forum. I said hello to him.

Getreal, from what I saw down there past couple days minows alway produce. Fishing is not like the past years no more. A few years ago when I fish, I see a total of ten people and never see any minows but now u see 10 people in one hole and they all have a bucket of minows.

I caught a few this evening on spinners. It was kind of slow for me.
As I was walking back towards the firewheel bridge at about 7:15 and 5 guys passed me. I noticed that none of them had fishing rods. The last one was carrying a cloth bag over his shoulder and a bucket. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out...I waited a few minutes then walked way back upstream and found them cast netting and keeping lots of sandies. I called the GW, and left him a message. Hopefully they got caught.

We got out there at 5:00ish, went to a special hole. It was packed.1 guy was catching the heck out of them, others here and there. Before sun down it stopped. It was Dead. My son caught a few small ones but average sand bass. I was shut out.
