Sunday: Sunny, with a temperature falling to around 56 by 7am. Windy, with a northwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to between 20 and 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
That front should be hitting hard about 7:00am.
I'm thinking I'm going to be sleeping late.

I'd stay off the lake. If you're gonna fish, try the creeks

Winds from the North 25 to 35 since 6am. Its a Real Good Day to NOT go out on RC . Been adding a new electrical outlet box in the utility room (guess what I didn't set the house on fire or get electrocuted, at least too bad - just a little 110 shock). Will be changing out the floors to new tile (for the utility room, kitchen, dinning room, entry hall, hall way and all three bath rooms). New counter tops (granite and new under mount sink in the utility room). I thought when you finally pay off a house you had it made (extra money for the fun stuff) . Nope, the wife's just think of new ways to spend the same amount of money (and more) - still all on the house . We are doing plenty (spending money) to help us get out of this recession, I just wish it was all going into the sport of fishing (that is a lot more fun). Daltexmex, you are doing the right thing at Bass Pro. Think of me as you find that next perfect thing. Money and time well spent. Keep spending out there, that is what will get us out of this recession. And stay off the lakes when the winds are this high - so that you can be around and enjoy the good days.

Me and the wife stayed at Fishermans point this weekend, woke up this morning to the northerner. Was checking out around 8:30 AM. And to my suprise, people were launching!! You could clearly see the "rollers" form the dock. I just hope everyone stays safe on days like this. Also Mark, i understand the "house projects" Last october we bought a new house with everything just they the wife wanted it.............. BS!!! LOL

LOL I guess its never ending (for the wife's it is truly their castle - that old saying that "A Man's home is his castle" - that's BS - it the wife's castle). Oh well - whatever makes them happy. A truer saying is "If mom's not happy - nobody's happy". I believe that.
