Fished from daylight til 3 or so. Caught a few fish mostly up shallow. The wind wasn't our friend at all. In fact the swells on the lake at dawn were pretty wild. The cold front last week seemed to move the fish back out a little. Worms worked best in the morning and then we started catching a few on spinner baits after lunch. It was cloudy all day and the wind switched from East @ 25 to SE @ 30 around 11 am.

We fished Possum, Salt Creek, Three Fingers, and West of Mason Point and caught fish most everywhere. But it was slower then normal. I will be glad to see about 5 or 6 days with out a cold front. Then the spawn should kick back in.

Any day fishing is a good day, but fighting the wind yesterday took its toll on me.
