where and what are the redfish and trout hitting on, im in beaumont, we usually go out to the jets

Sabine we went to McFaddin about a week ago the reds were biting in the surf on finger mullet going back this weekend

I think Keith lake is the first to turn on for trout. We went last sunday and fished around the cut and caught alot of trout. Amazingly we didn't catch any reds. They were hitting on soft plastics. Salt and pepper/chrtr was my best color. We ending up with 15 trout and 2 flounder in the cooler.
