There are quite a few in Stone Bridge, which one might you be talking about?? There are a couple of ponds I hit in there.

The one at Nora Haney park on Lake Forrest has some good ones in there but it is best to fish up near the road to keep out of sight of the security.

There is another one that is really good but you need to be stealthy there. Don't see many people fishing there but signs are posted "Fishing for residents only, catch and release only".

If you are talking about the one off of Ridge Road and Virginia area thank I have had some luck.

I fish it often enough since I live right down the street from it. Caught about 8 a few days ago in about 2-2 1/2 hours or so. Mostly about a pound and a half. Largest being about a 3 pounder. Mostly on a Texas rigged baby brush hog with a quarter oz weight and a couple on a weightless senko.

Tried some top water stuff but no takers. It was later in the day when I hit it.

I used to fish there all the time and caught a lot of good fish. I always released them and never trashed the place but the last 2 times I fished it, I got ran off by a rent a cop and I was fishing ponds that had no signs posted. I would love to go back and fish there again.

I have a good friend that lives near there and his son caught a 4#er out of one. They usually fish it around sunset when the course is shutting down. They have been asked to leave before.

i live @ Stonebridge. The best pond used to be the one off of N. Stonebridge Dr. and 380 before they drained it to put a stupid fountain in. I would often C&R some 5+# on crawfish style lures out there almost ever trip. Not anymore... They've got some nice ones in the big pond off of Virginia and S. Stonebridge where they are doing all that construction but if you don't live in the area... don't even try Golf Cart Willy will run you off...

I like to go out there and watch the kiddos reel in the big ones using hotdogs...

1 more thing, I found that the area near the outtake for the pond closest to Stonebridge Dr is where a lot of fish are holding out. Last year I caught some of my largest fish there.
