Buy the Hamby's light duty for $175 or so and install it yourself. I don't think you'll regret buying a Hamby's

I have had the one from BPS for four years now and have had no problems with it. It comes in very handy for those ramps where there is no beach and only rock. Just slider her up on the ramp and go get the trailer. But only when the ramp is not loaded with people.

Look to the left there and go to Keelshield. Thats what I have on mine and it is great. Easy to put on and never has let me down. Board sponsor too!

Another vote for the KeelShield. For the money, I don't think it can be beat.

Check the for sale listings. I have a Hamby's heavy duty beaching bumper for sale, that will save you over $100 on the regualar rate if interested, and it will be from and installed by a TFF sponser.
God Bless, Stephen

MY BPS beaching bumper started coming off about a year after I installed it. I followed the directions to the letter. Pay a little more now and save yourself the headache later on. I have glued it back in place and it is holding up so far but I would not buy the BPS one again.

Mine actually came off and split down the center. I to followed all the instructions to the letter. I think I will try a Keelshield next time.

I bought mine from Academy, {Keelshield}It was cheaper than BPS. Also it had a bow protector as a bonus. It was very easy to install. Got to do it one a warm day. Lay your keelsheild in the sun about 30 minutes, while you are scuffing the boat. With it being soft it will follow the contour of your boat very well. Hope this helps. George

I have the KeelGuard from BPS and I have not had any problems with it. Good for beaching the boat at the ramps with out a courtesy dock.

Mr. Selbor, The KeelShield is one of two out there that is self installable. The KeelShield offers more than a dozen colors to choose from and comes with a LIFETIME guarantee. That can't be beat. If I can answer any questions, please contact me.

I've had a Keel Guard on my Skeeter for 6 months and really like it. The Keel Shield gets good reports from a couple of my buddies. I'm sure that either will do well for you.
