Outboard tilted up or all the way down or does it matter? 97 Johnson 150 2 stroke.

Down in the run position. If it's tilted up (travel postition) you will trap an air bubble and give you a false reading of being full.......

Should it be drained in the up position so that the drain hole is at the lowest point & then filled in the down position? I know it's not rocket science just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly.
