My partner caught this while fishing a tourney on 3-29-09

How is the ramp out at Alvarado. What did you catch it on? Are they shallow? I am wanting to get out there and try them out.

They are starting to move shallow. This fish was caught in 8' of water. If anyone is interested in fishing some tourney's out there, check out the tournament page for info on wednesday or sunday tourneys on Alvarado Lake. We are trying to get some more participation. There are some nice fish being caught out there. The boatramp is fine, there is a hole on the right side when backing down so stay to the left.

I always thought 11 something was the record but looked at the Parks & Wildlife website and 9.11 is the standing record.
