My oldest son took me bass fishing at fork a couple years ago.He hooked what appeared to be a good one.He handed me his rod and said ,here you get him.After a pretty good fight i reeled in his DD 22. I even got a good laugh .

A few turtles and a net at a local creek that a freind ruined by burning some of the strings. My dad caught a size 11 tenis shoe at grapevine near the island. He said it was a good fighter. And I have caught the back of my shirts a couple of times.

The weirdest thing I ever caught was a black bass out of Lake Lavon......LOL!

I was fishing the Detroit river and snagged an orange costruction mesh fencing and it had about a 5 ft. pike skeleton that was stuck in it. pretty cool, besides the trash in the river.

through out a topwater and soon as it hit the water here comes a seagull swooping down on it. he took off with and i flew him around like a kite for awhile. well [censored], what do i do now? so i give it a lil jerk & it hooks him in the wing. he hits the water and flops all around. i reeled him in and my sister who is a vet grab holds of him and i dehook em while hes tring to bite me and let him go. he flew off just fine.

I caught a seagull once and I def. feel your pain! lol One time fishin at the local creek for catfish my bobber shot down and I set the hook into what felt like a 3 pound bass the way it was fightin and got it up and it was a big oscar! I guess it got too big for somebody's tank but it sure put up a good fight!

while fishing in Cleburne i felt a slight pull on my line and set the hook hard only to catch a Carp scale. i guess i felt him swim by the line and when i set the hook i pulled a scale off...

Back when C City had Redfish I hung in to a decent keeper. Got him in the boat and he had another hook/line in his mouth. Went to pulling up the line and here comes a 7' rod with a pretty new Garcia High Speed 5000 reel. The tree limb that the rod was stuck in at the bank was still attached to the rod/reel. A little clean up and the reel was like new.

i caught an umbrella on ray bob. hooked in the handle, when i tried to pull it in it would open up and catch water and when i let it go it would fall like a rock. i thought i would never get it up and off, it wasnt to bad of shape either. last year i caught a 1oz. slab in the back of the head. those slabs cost around 550.00 and a 2.00 hat to boot. highly not a recommendable thing to do.
