Just picked up the 85 piece neon kit which retails for 10 dollars at Academy for 5 dollars..

Anyone ever used these little things for crappie/sunfish?

Don't know if they were the same thing, think the ones I tried were called Crappie Magnets, but the jigs looked the same and in bright colors like those and same shapes. Did not have any luck with them, still have some. But, you never know what a Crappie will bite on at any given time on any given lake.

I have not heard about crappie, but I have heard they are really good for trout. I've got a buddy that swears by them. He gave my dad a few to try on crappie but we haven't yet.
