HAVE ANY BUTY FISH ON THE POND ON HWY 6 PEOPLE SAY THERE BIG FISH LIKE BASS AND CRAPIES BOWFIN FISH .SO I WANTER IF ANY ONE BEEN THERE FISHING.

Are you talking about the ponds where you have to hike over the large hill to get to? If so - yes they have tons of crappie. Been years since I fished them - you could park next to the gas station on Hwy 6.

Buddy, which ponds are you talking about. I am lookin on google maps and can't find which one it is.

They're at Hwy 6 and Briar Forest is the intersection.
Hopefully this map works.... The big pond to the left of Hwy 6 and the smaller pond below it. I'm not even sure you can still fish them as I haven't been there in 10+ years but they were good back then. You could park on the east side of Hwy 6 at the intersection and then hike up and down the hill and follow the path to the ponds.

Thanks for the info. I actually just moved here from Garland so I know how tough it is to find decent ponds there to fish in.

I grew up right there on Westiemer and hwy 6 in the neighborhood there on the right side of that map. I live in Austin now but would appreciate hearing a fishing report after you go.
