Special thanks to all the good folks and fellow TFFrs that chose to fish with River Run Guide Service, during Spring Break 09.

I wish I had the time to do a report on each trip. Spending the day on the river with each of you was a real pleasure. I'm still sore from all the laughing and what not. Well, ok, it's the paddling I'm sore from, actually. lol

However, getting back on top of the fish after this front passes, will be my #1 priority.

The highlight of the last few weeks IMHO, had to be the Personal Bests for many of the young anglers I had the pleasure of fishing with. These young men well represented a up and coming kayak fishing generation and had a great overall love of the outdoors. Kudos, to all the Fathers who booked the trips. Exposing your kids to a ecological friendly way to enjoy one of North Texas last true river frontiers as we kayak the Brazos catching, photographing and releasing various species of Texas Gamefish is a great way for Family to spend the day.

Check out Steve and his Frog Boat. He and his son, Shaughn ran the Brazos all day in the Frogs. I was impressed with it's stability and versatility on the River.

Those gar working their way into our spread was a hoot. That longnose in the 50" class jumped like a hooked Tarpon! It was amazing that we got them to the point of being landed on straight 15 pound mono.
