Jeff and I fished with Tarponfly this past Wednesday March 25. Tarponfly really knows his stuff! We caught 30 sandbass and two crappie between us! Our past 8 combined trips to the creek, we both got skunked. Carey, you are the best! thanks for teaching us your techniques for catching fish - what a fantastic day! See all photos at

Mr. Irwin is no longer with us as a result of his animal handling.

Rather as a result of him swimming over a stingray, Curly. LOL. I wouldn't consider that handling, nor atypical.

i love wade fishing in the spring time..if i knew where to wade in that creek, i would do it too...its just i dont want to fall into a deep hole that i dont know about. im new to the creek so give or take another year i'll be down there with my waders too!...right now i'll just stay on the bank and watch where the wadermans go..=))

agreed on lots of people in waders this year. but the creek is big enough to where you dont have to fight to wade (yet). give it 3 years and it will be crazy down there. Spring break was the worst i have seen it yet. it calmed way down after that. anyways, i have a few dates open. And this should be one of the best weeks for the run.

Guided trip openings:

Monday, March 30th AM
Monday, March 30th PM
----------------------Or you can have the whole day Monday.
Thursday, April 2nd PM
Sunday, April 5th AM
Monday, April 6th AM

AM- 6 AM - 12 PM
PM- 2 PM - 8 PM
----------------if you dont have any gear, i will supply it all. all you need is some shoes to get wet and a smileing face. PM me for questions..........

Anyways, does anyone want to split a trip w/ me w/ Tarponfly? I know how to fish down there, but I just dont have the time to go find them. I just want to make sure i catch fish if I go.
