hey fellas, doesn't the formula go cloudy day+dark jig=crappie just as clear day+bright jig=crappie? is this true?

sorta...

also have to consider depth, water clarity and what the fish are eating

all else fails go blakc/chart or white/chart those two color combos will keep you in fish most of the time

Maybe thats what its supposed to be... But I do the exact opposite and catch lots.

Someone who knows a lot more than me told me once it's not the jig, tis the dance. Ill add... If your a good dancer, you can worry bout the dress.

good point. just hold it as still as you can most of the time with an occasional quick drop of 3 or 4 inches and back to REAL still and it usually doesnt matter bout the color too much. if they are there they will eat it

If water is stain use chartuese and black if water is clear use chartuese and white if this still dosn't work just use minnows.
