I know how excited everyone gets to head to that awesome lake, but this front has to make them mad as heck. The front just came through my house around 5:00 and the winds are cold and howling around 30mph. They should have got in some great fishing today, but tommorrow is not going to be pleasant. flehan Sorry guys I hate spring fishing.

Anybody heard from anybody?

It was hard to cancel out but looks like it was a good idea right about now...Good luck to those that made the trip and be careful...

My consolation prize was 22 keepers at the office today...

I fished about half the day today. Ran aground once bang, but luckily managed out of it. Later, I was backing up in a cove close to idle speed, hit a stump and it took me right off my feet. My lower left bottom area blush landed on one of my batteries shocked and my back hit the engine. That was enough for me. bolt

Previous day was good. Friday kept we 5 good ones including A 2.34. Jerry and Paul landed a 2.7 ans 12 others. I'll post some pics later and maybe a short video. I'm sure we'll get the full report tomorrow. Going to rest now tired

Actually, I think your the only one of us that had any sense crazy

It was rough out there. We wore our life jackets all day long.

The winning teams put together some impressive stringers despite the poor weather conditions.

I returned from my trip to Millwood today. The weather was pretty bad but the fish bit like crazy. My brother and I caught a limit Wed and Th with probably 10 to 15 fish over 2lbs. I took my nephew out on Friday to teach him how to catch crappie. He caught 5 slabs and we ended the trip with 13 keepers. A couple of the tournament guys caught 2-3lbs on Thursday and they let me take a look. They were huge. I decided to pass on the tournament because of the weather. Anthony that was me (Rodney) that spoke to you when you were standing at the top of the hill. I hope you guys had a good time. It's time for some crappie and spaghetti tomorrow.

Bad weekend all around...on Friday James and I (James) managed two fish around 2 1/2 pounds but his gasket on his exhaust manifold went out. We were able to use the motor but it sounded like a jet engine. Got up and out on the lake for the tournament and within 15 minutes on the water we lost the lower unit. Needless to say we were done...we were not going to risk being on the water with 20-30 mph winds with only a trolling motor. We packed up and went home...the drive back was a bitc@! It was tough fighting the winds with my Jeep and his boat. Back home and safe...thinking about hitting Lavon today.
