Some do 100%, I don't do it because it may cause you to foul out your plugs sooner... I think that is called running too "lean" but not sure...

I run it 2x a year and my boat does well that way!

Fouling plugs is running too rich. ( more fuel than air)

You may run lean on OIL content if you use too much seafoam and you premix your gas...but it would take a lot. I am guessing you dont premix with that engine, though. I run about 1/2 a can to 9-12 gallons of gas about twice a season.

i just use the amount suggested on the bottle. i think its like 1 oz of seafoam to every 2.5 gal of gasoline. not entirely sure about that, though.

I mix my oil with premium and use one 16 oz. can for every fill up. I'm running a 225 Promax.

When Added to Fuel Tank

Cleans fuel injectors and carburetor jets
Cleans carbon as you drive
Lubricates upper cylinders
De-ices and removes moisture
Diesel full conditioner and anti gel
Stabilizes fuel
One pint treats 8-25 gallons of fuel (average 1 ounce per gallon).

SEA FOAM was developed originally for the marine market"That's why the great name SEA FOAM." Fred Fandrei, the founder of SEA FOAM, showed Evinrude Outboard Motors how to solve their stale fuel, varnish and carbon problems with its use. Because the product worked so well, and after many years of experimentation, SEA FOAM became a great problem solver in the automotive after market as well. It is renowned as the finest, most multifaceted and safest petroleum product of our times.

Yes Sea Foam is real good but like I have said before I would`nt use the recommended amout except for first treatment. Then cut back to 1/4oz per gallon. Have a XRI Merc working on right now that guy has been using 1oz per gallon and the bottom fuel supply hose to the vapor seperator is soft and swelled up. Was working adjusting the shift cable when I noticed it. Going to have to replace all hoses. Have seen it start to desolve the brown carb gaskets on OMC`s. More is not better in this case. Good Luck
