I caught a fish skeleton at Lavon a few years back. Looked like something right out of the cartoons. I've learned since then that the TPWD is aggressively stocking it with skeletons.

I caught a dead cow in a creek about a mile up from the Red River one night. Scared the carp outa me as it's bloated carcass rolled up from the brush next to the boat. Thought for a second it was a human corpse. Creepy.

I caught a 2.5 ft shark while wade fishing in Port Oconnor when I was about 13.

My brother told me that once we let that shark go, it was going to turn around and come after us, so we had to run back to the boat as fast as possible. He laughed at me the whole way while I fought the water all the way back to the boat.

How about a Turtle? Yes, we do get them occasionally here in Canada. They will take the trout bait and try to run away with it. We find them in Abbotsford, Mill Lake. There use to be only a few, now there is more of them. We find them on the dock, shore, and in shallows on logs taking up the sun. I like to post pictures, but I don't think I can do that yet as I'm a newbie here.

haha the other day my girlfriend and I were out a Joe Pool fishing for cats and we were just about to pack up and leave when BAM!!! I got a huge bite.. started reeling it in and I was just thinking to myself "Now what was the lake record here????" haha.. Pulled the "fish" up and it was a GIANT turtle.. probably weighed 12 pounds or so.. the shell on it was prob 14 inches across... the hook was in its foot?? and as I went to take it out the turtle was hissing at me and trying to bite me.. so needless to say that turtle has a hook in its foot and about 2 feet of line off of it.. haha.. he should be fine though!

Was fishing under the road bridge at Monticello and there was a guy with 5 or 6 lines out with shiners on them. He sets the hook on one and about that time another rod gets a bite and goes out of the boat. About ten minutes later I hook a fish, reel him in, and he's got another hook in him. I pull up that line and get the guys rod and reel so I trolled over and asked if he wanted it back.

Awhile back I was fishing off the shore at texoma and my pole was about 5-10yds away, because I was still looking for some twigs to make a fire. I kept my eyes on the pole while I was looking for some twigs, then all of a sudden my pole started to jerk like i had a trophy on there, my pole fell off the fish stand and started to head for the water, when i came running and set the hook, and started reeling. I was like damn this fish is strong [censored] hell, and across from me was a boat, and the [censored] guy who was fishing caught my line(he was obviously doing the same thing i was doing,thinking it was a trophy he caught!), so i was like what a B****!!!! and just let him reel my line in and he untangled my hook and threw it back in the water.

ive got a fish by the loop on a leader once. apparently someone just unsnapped the leader and hook and threw the fish back. i also left my pole sitting on the edge of a dock with my minnow just barely in the water so it would stay alive and went to talk to a cop that was walking up (it was 4am, he was just in the area making sure everything was ok) talked for about 20min, came back and had a 3ft gar on the end of my line that had foul hooked itself in the eye!

A turtle in Canada would be really strange!!

Caught a couple turtles crappie fishin. Hooked up on a big bowfin bass fishing with a spinnerbait. I tell you, those suckers can put up a fight. I thought I had a big bucketmouth on there. I'd never seen one before so when I pulled it up I was like WTF? It was a male with all of its colors. Green and red and some yellow. I took a pic and thought that I had caught some crazy mutated fish. Called my dad up and he told me it was a bowfin. Its the only one I've ever caught.

The usual seagulls, A duck, snake, gators, my best friend. Seems to me that the Rattle Trap is the best all round catcher after reading all these posts. They really will catch anything and i mean anything!
