Too many count every fish, only keepers count in my book.
I like the stories like, "we caught 85 but only kept a dozen of the bigger ones" juggle

Clickers work great but I always forget to click and end up counting again anyway. I can tell about how many are in the live well by listening when one gets tossed in. If I hear it hitting "meat" I know there are close to 40 in there.

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.

I like to keep up with the total but the number in the live well is the most important. Get yourself a clicker, it'll keep you out of trouble.

On the other hand I haven't needed a clicker lately or even more than 1 hand.... bang

"They were hittin' like crazy YESTERDAY!"
"We limited out YESTERDAY!"
