Was cleaning up last years garden in preps for a bigger garden (bad economy) this year and took out a lot of the 3/4th inch hard yet flexible drip line pipe. Cut into about 6 foot lengths they take a natural graceful curve. These concreted into a bucket would make a great structure with the added advantage that they would be practically impossible to snag. May have to pick up a bag of concrete and make one for you all to see.

Maybe even better would be taking the "short" cedar posts - you know the 4-6 inch diameter ones that are only say 4-5 feet long (too many are like that) and put it up on the drill press and drill appropriate sized holes for the pipe sections at various angles and stick them through it with the ends curving up like a Christmas Tree. Concrete the base in a bucket and down she goes. I like the no-snagability aspect.

Not from a septic :-) I have big raised bed gardens and they were from there and from around fruit trees, etc. Gonna have to make one up really soon.
We have a private community lake that is stocked really well, but nobody ever fishes. Its 14 acres and is both creek and spring fed. I've been trying to improve the habitat in it so "I" know where it is at. 5 years ago we stocked 80 hand sized crappie in the lake. Only a few have ever been caught. I'll bet there may be some Big ones in there. Also have to try a light at night to see if there is anyone home.

I have always heard that small ponds/lakes do not do very well with crappie unless it is fished VERY regularly... Crappie reproduce in such great numbers that they will compete heavily for the food source, and unless you regularly take lots of crappie from the pond/lake they will be stunted and it will be full of small crappie.
I'm not sure how small of a pond/lake is considered small, but you will know when you start fishing it and all you catch are mini crappie.....Lemme know how it goes.

Cut into about 6 foot lengths they take a natural graceful curve. Speaking of graceful curves, check out these babies. I almost spread them out in the yard as "evergreen" potted plants. No watering necessary They currently reside in Lake Granger.
May you have a blessed day.

What did you use for the colored plants?? Almost look like the floaties rubber wands that kids use in pools.

It is actually the PVC conduit material used for running Fiber Optic Cable, etc. underground. Each color was a different diameter. My brother's construction company had a bunch of "scrap" and he let me have it. Need to go get some more.
Next time I may try some of the advice I've seen on the forum and only use 4 pieces per bucket and add "leaves" from 5 gal buckets. Thanks for the idea Ernest.

Those are awesome, a couple of years I went and bought a bunch of 3/4" PVC pipe and a ton of different joints, popped a cold pop and went to town creating a 6 foot by 6 foot monster maze, sunk it under my dock at Fork and have been pluck'n ever since. But these look even better, I'll be swinging by the Op's guys and bumming some conduit next week! Thanks for the tip
