I am struggling with why the slip bobber holes at the bottom are not the same size at the top.
While jig & bobbing my jig eye-lit is getting stuck in the bottom of my slip bobber.
I'm using the Bass Pro Shop brands but it seems upon further inspection the other brand slip bobbers are designed the same way.
What am I missing?

I have noticed the same thing. What I do it is put a small swivel where I want the bobber to stop. Hope this helps.

I used some other brands a time or two and had to return to just using Thills.
The top hole has a job to do restraining the stopper and the bottom hole needs to be larger to prevent doubling the restriction of the falling/slipping line. the simplest way to remedy the wedging is to countersink the bottom hole. This makes it a "V" shape that will not wedge the eyelet or knot.
Good luck, Phill

Exactly just put the same style bead below your slip bobber as above it.I fish this wat all the time and I sometimes honestly think the different colored beads make a diiference in catching fish.I use alot of reds and greens.Hope this helps.
