I asked for ADVICE. Not for a GUIDE. Sorry I didn't jump right in and support your business. If asking a question is not what a FORUM is for I'm sorry. I am new to this also, so I understand your frustration. I usally fish from a boat and creek fishing is an entirely different thing. But - I think you're misunderstanding some of these guys in here. No one is here to give you a bad time or not share information. This thread is full of it - which is what they're trying to tell you. Most of these guys follow this thing religiously and continue to update this as the season progresses. If you start at the beginning and read through most of this - you should pick up some good info on the basics. They just don't want to go over the same information thats already been talked about on three pages previously.
Whell..Bye

THE NEXT PERSON THAT KEEPS THE ARGUMENT UP AND POSTS ABOUT IT------- YOU WILL BE REPORTED AND YOU WILL BE DELETED. THIS IS A FISHING FORUM. NOT A AOL/YAHOO CHAT LOG. IF YOU READ EVERY PAGE ON THE INFORMATION ON THIS THREAD, YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO ASK SIMPLE QUESTIONS LIKE THAT. 151 PAGES IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. FINDING OUT HOW TO CATCH THEM PROPERLY IS THE ISSUE..... I CAN TELL YOU EVERYTHING I HAVE IN MY BOX AND YOU CAN GO TO THE CREEK AND TRY TO CATCH FISH WITH WHAT I FISH WITH.... SO, YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO FAIL AT IT AND JUST SIT THERE AND "STARE AT THE WATER" IF YOU DONT KNOW WHOW TO USE THE GEAR. THATS WHY IM HERE. TO SHOW YOU AND TO INCREASE YOUR CATCH RATIO. LETS HAVE FUN AND FISH.... ( I HAVE SOME (3) STORIES FROM ARGUMENTS I HAD WITH INCONSIDERATE DONKEYS TODAY. EVEN MY CLIENT txSTRYKER YELLED AT ONE. AND A 50 YEAR OLD MAN WITH with his college kids almost got his head smashed in by 5 people.....thats the start to a couple storys...... PM me for more on that for a good laugh... rules/laws, that you are supose to follow at the creek: example: -if you limit with your dad at the creek and you both are keeping your limit, your dad CANNOT just hold the grear and you drag 50 fish to the truck. that would make you over by 25 fish in your possession ..... -dont cross my line or anyone elses w/o thier permition or cast to where they just hooked up a fish....... ill warn you once and if you do it again, ill cut your line... -dont argue with me. im always right! -if you have a question, read the whole thread first. then ask if its not there. -no cheap shots at people on here just to get a kick out of seeing how it progresses....its just childish............ Report: fished from 7am-till-8pm. total fish caught was over 150 easy. Below are some happy clients FROM TODAY!!

I want to thank Carey (Tarponfly) for a successful trip. I have fished this creek for years and he doubled my knowledge in 6 hours. John (my son) had a blast. Having someone else teach him in addition to me made a big difference. Something about kids and how they will pay attention to a stranger and LISTEN!! Carey was great and patient with him. We caught fish and that was the goal.We went back and used the same techniques in other spots and in addition to my own and landed even more fish. There are fish all up and down in that creek...don't follow and cast right on top of the guy who is catching. I too will cut your line if it happens twice.
I met Beto, Kalub, Godzilla, and of course Martin. Nice meeting you guys and see ya soon.

A short visit yesterday evening near Firewheel from about 6-7:15. About 15 people or more fishing under the bridge when I first arrived and did not want to break into that group. Did not bring any minnows. People with minnows under a float 3' to 5' seemed to be catching some. I threw rubber jigs and rapalas and rapalas LKQ but no hits.

It sure seems like the fishing is a lot worse than last year. It also seems like its a lot more crowded year after year.

-fishing is not worse...? its better/at least on my end. you have to understand that we still haveanother month of this left and more sandies and hybrids will move in tuesday during the rain. i was looking at a shool of more than 100 sandies today.... they are thick all up and down the creek... you just have to know where and when to go and what gear to have..... every year there gets better and better on my end..........
report from today will be up in a few hours, i need to take a nap and ill download the pic later- camera is in the truck....

Fishin was bad for me today haha...One sandy today...fished minnows (under slip bobber and on bottom), road runners, fin-s-shads, and lastly threw my rapalas..mainly stayed under the firewheel bridge area and a little bit down towards the gun range...Saw Carey and his client with a NICE stringer floatin behind em..when I showed up I believe you said they shut down haha..go figure..I should have woken my lazy arse up earlier...my access was limited as I forgot my waders...I didnt know you can wade over by pole 8-9 Carey..I'll try that next time

What is pole 8-9, where is the pole? Is it something to can see when you get there? Is it a telephone poles you are talking about? What WHAT is it? I heard a couple of people mention "I fish from pole ### to ###"
