Just curious if any of you can help me. My buddy just got his Lake Worth permit and was wanting to do some crappie fishing out there and he and I have no idea where to start. I am not trying to get anybody's sweet spots or honeyholes. Just a little bit of help finding some crappie on Worth. Thanks in advance.
Bobby

Bobby,
I would fish docks and the bridge. Concentrate on docks that have a lot of shade under them and you should be good to go.

(see Stucky's post)...find the 820 or 199 bridges and have at it! Any docks with shade are a bonus too.
Bonnie82, think you got the wrong thread hon.

Bobby I haven't done much fishing there this year, but last year I caught alot fishing the boat slips at the base marina, shootin' the docks across from the base and fishing a jig and bobber in the grass beds by 820 bridge. Hope this helps.

yeah I wouldnt eat the fish from that lake but the people fishign from the bank normally do. We went out and caught like 12 sandys and gave them to some poeple on the dock. I just like fishing for sport anyway. If i wanna set em i'll go to eagle MT.
