What are the highest winds that you have fished in?

The highest winds I launched a boat in were 25-28 MPH, but the ramp was sheltered in a cove and it was easy.

45+, gusts to 50 at launch time on Tawakoni for a Texas Striper Association Tourney about 3 years ago and stinking cold. Fished against Stripaholic, Capn Joe, Team Family Style, Nauti-Pilots, and others, with HighTech Redneck winning it.

Never gonna do it again...man, those were some memories!!!

My body does not take those beatings well anymore, so I usually find something else to do when it hits 25...but will launch at 20 and below.

20-30 with gusts over 50. It isn't really a lot of fun. I don't mind 15-25 with gusts to 30. I catch a lot of fish on windy days.

ruin fishing, ruins navigation, gets me wet.

Bass Champs on Cedar Creek a few years ago. Blew all day with sustained gusts to 57mph. Pretty much blew 35-40 all day. It was crazy. They allowed trailering or it would have been impossible.

3 weeks ago at Lake Texoma on a dock. Waves crashing over the dock and 4-5 foot waves all over the lake. To add to that the wind chill was about 18.
