Hell you just show up with boat and pole in hand and you'll catch fish there...

Might not be that easy, but you are going at a damn good time. Keep one light tx. rigged and one wacky rigged matermelon or smoke senko in the water a bunch, you will catch em!From the back of the drains out about half way should work.

Tx rigged senkos and powerworms will get bites. There will be some bed fish to get after in two weeks as well. Swimbait bite is picking up daily and Xcite swimbaits in the amistad special color will get bites as well if you get some wind.

just got back and we didnt catch alot of fish but did catch them but nothing of size... it is still tough but the fish are definately moving up me and my dad found 3 spots that we seen alot of fish crusing the shallows but would not bite anything... they will be really good when they turn on... but they should be moving up real soon and it is going to be very good this year I think...
