I think you guys had me down to bring the beef but unfortunately I just got a wedding invite(which I regretfully have to attend) for the same day. I will still be able to show up at the get together I hope but I won't be bringing any food....dangit!! ....I love a good excuse to cook WAY to much meat!

I would be there for sure and fish as well, but I will be out of town. Hope to make it at the next one, but this looks like it will be a good time!

Well it looks like Sportsman Warehouse WILL be there and giving away rods and reels and stuff too. Too bad all you guys can't make it, I guess the rest of us will get all the door prizes and food. What a shame, all those prizes and only a hand full of people to give them to. The ones that DO ATTEND should make-out like bandits. :p :p

I can provide a 10.35 lb brisket for beef, with a satipulation, I can not cook brisket worth a hoot, so will not cook it. can deliver it to someone else locally, if that is possible.

The list of no-shows for one reason or another seems to be getting as long as the yes shows.Champs T conflicts with the outting date.Look forward to the next one however.If ya's need anything let me know, between Johnna & I we'll get it up there one way or another.

Taxidermyman said he would bring a brisket or two if we need that much. He can precook them at home the day before and then finish them off at the outing. Just let me know. Bye the way he cooks a mean brisket!!!

Does anybody have an idea of approximate times planned for fishing, eating, etc.? I plan on bringing the family, so will not likely be able to leave the wife with the kids for an extended period to go fish, but would like to backseat for an hour or so if there's a backseat open.

Ok, unofficially, the day goes like this. The gates open at 7am but Michael says they will open earlier for tournaments, and he is coordinating that. After the tournament we eat,say around 1 to 1:30 or so, then we mingle and get the contest going, flipping and whatever. Then we eat some more and maybe fish some more, and maybe have some more drawings.

I'm really not very good at planning this sort of thing I guess. I really thought that when i started this deal that someone with more experience, would step up and do it. LOL. I guess I was wrong. So let's play it by ear, and see what happens. I will take suggestions, please feel free to email me.

This should be a good time for all, and I've done everything I can to make it happen. Thanks again to all of you that helped put this deal together. See ya there.
