hey guys, i was just curious if yall could give me an hour range of what to change/repair/check every so often. I have 40 hours on it now since i last did my lower unit oil and other small stuff, just trying to get an idea what to look out for when. Thanks

I have heard 100 hours...spark plugs and lower unit oil

I replace the plugs and lower unit oil every fall. I take the prop off and check for line wrapped every trip. Other than that I just add gas and oil.

I use the 1x per year for the lower unit oil, and spark plugs, and 3yrs on the impeller unless the tell tail isnt appearing withing a couple seconds of startup in which case it gets an immediate replacement.

can the every year thing really be accurate?...since im sure we all use our boats different amount of hours. I know my dad puts about 20 hours all year on his boat so chaning every year sounds good. Me, i've put 40 hours in about 2 weeks. So a whole year would be 100's of hours on the engine. I planned on changing lower unit again at 100...Thanks guys for the input

workin on my 2nd 100 hours...anything else you guys can think of besides new lower unit oil, new plugs, and impellar? I am replacing the impellar this time, i didn't last time...
