Headed out to Conroe with a couple of buddies yesterday evening and caught 17 keepers in 1-4 feet of water. I left straight from the office and met them at the boat storage. It's the first time I've fished in dress pants. We didn't get on the water until about 7 and fished until a little after dark. I think we could have really killed them if we would have been able to get out earlier. Sorry for the lousy cell phone pic. It was nice to go out and have the lake virtually to ourselves.

I'm going out to Lake Conroe for the first time tomorrow in my new boat. Where can I start to look for crappie on that lake?
