My son and his buddy ran a few trotlines in 18 ft and 7 jugs in 6 ft baited with shad from 3:30 to 6pm and ended up with 18 blues from small to 9 lbs. He said all the fish on jugs were caught on top hooks. This was his buddies first time to run jugs and he was "hooked" for sure. I thought they had a good handle on filleting but still needed some help to finish up. Proud of these guys for getting out on their own and getting it done.
