It's gettin to that point where I should finally take the plunge and get a boat. I've been looking around, and I've seen some pretty good deals lately. However, I wanted to get ya'lls opinion on what some of the best rough water bass boat models are, from years 1995-2002. If I didn't have to get a new truck, I'd just go get a Ranger z520 (which i heard are amazing). Thanks for the info!

Basscat and Champion are good.

I have a Ranger 522 and it will handle as much rough water as you can take.

Champ or Bass Cat

I vote for the Champion, never been in a basscat.

champion first, bass cat second, all others way back there when it comes to rough water ride. I think my 82 18'8" champion has a better rough water ride than most 20 ft.

fished two days in my "new boat " and it aint the same ride "

I run a Champion and my best friend has a Bass Cat. Those are the 2 driest most comfortable rides I have ever had on the water and that is why we bought them.

ive been in most and the 2 best rides in my opinion are champion and charger

My 20ft skeeter is far better than 18ft bass boats I have had or ridden in!!

Plenty of deck space...I don't think the fish really care what you fish out of, but this will handle the rough water, just fine...
