I was filling up this morning at the Racetrack on Hwy 380 just East of Denton. When I pulled up, there was a Game Warden who had pulled over a guy on a crotch rocket. He was in the process of getting a ticket for speeding!





Then the GW came back over to the guy on the bike and arrested him for an outstanding warrant!

Just goes to show you that the GW's are going above their normal duty to enforce the law!

If I remember correctly only the Texas Rangers have more authority than a Game Warden. As far as I know Game Wardens are the only authority that can search your house without a warrant too!

They can enforce any state or local law anywhere in the State of Texas.

Texas Rangers
Highway Patrol
Game Wardens

All three of those don't have any jurisdictions. If they see a violation, they can enforce it.

We have a DPS office here in Denton, and you frequently see them enforcing local traffic laws. In fact, they will grab you faster than the local Donut Eaters!

You say that like the GW was doing something bad? I like it. The more cops on the road the better.

Yeah GW's are no joke for sure. Sad though that they make less than 40K - 45K a year.

When you think nobody is watching you, that is when the Game Warden is watching. Mind your P's and Q's or they will help you to mind them.

a GAME WARDEN has nothing better to do than bust guys on donor-cycles trying to acheive speed nirvana?

You wanna know where they are? enforcing traffic control for DPD. great. I really feel my taxes are well-spent now.

Completely disagree...most of the crotch rocket riders have never seen a traffic law they don't routinely break. No telling what the guy was doing...are you thinking the GW should have just let it go...

The GW should be applauded IMO...

any police officer can write a ticket in any city in texas. To be a police officer in texas you have to have a license issued by the state of texas. Most will not stop people in other city because they don't want to step on other department toe's. GW can kick in your door without a word..
