Fishing continues to be good. Front had fish finicky at Choke for a day but they should be back on feeding mode now. Calaveras wasn't really affected with the water temps being warmer. Saturday-Jaimie, Mary, Phillip and bud gregory of Austin,Tx joined me again for Phillips b-day. We had a blast after the rain fishing from 1 -5:30 calling it a day with 53 channels and 1 blue for our efforts. A big joy being apart of this for three years running, watching the "little ones" get bigger every year. Sunday-Choke. Ernesto and Laurie of Austin,Tx fished a weather perfect day. Fish were finicky and if you felt any resistance, set the hook. Made for some hard fishing but we were able to get a mess for a spring break fry. Ended day with 42 fish. Today-Calaveras- John & daughter Ashley of San Antone wanted to learn the lake and catch some fish. We accomplished just that, ending the day with 49 channels and 1 blue for 50 fish limit. Reds avoided us for today. Had a blast. March is completely filled up. I have dates available for April and fishing should only be getting better as spring sets in... Let's go catching.. All fish coming on Team Catfish 5/0 hooks, shad, and Big Marv's. Calaveras fish were shallow and Choke they were shallow and deep. Cliff

Way to go cliff! I will have to make it down there some day and fish with ya on that lake, or maybe if you make it up here one day take you out on Granger.

Hey Cliff, it's John. I just wanted to say thanks again. Ashlee had a great time and so did I. For everyone else, if you ever get the chance to fish with Cliff, do it. It is well worth the price!!
Happy in San Antonio!
BTW, When we got home we fried a bunch up and they were good!
