Me and my fishing buddies were heading to RR on Sunday and ran into Cliff Spindle at the Shell station while we were getting minnows. We were talking fishing and I asked if he was going out today, but he said his boat was in the shop. We invited him to go out on our boat with us and he agreed.

We were all trying to figure out what the weather had done to the crappie. We must have hit 8 to 10 different "spots" and the weather and colder weather had definitely affected the fishing...at least for yesterday. The water temp was about 53 on the main lake and only about 57 in spots in the creeks. We caught a few, but we learned even more, which is as important as just catching them.

Cliff, you are awesome and it was a pleasure and an honor having you out with us yesterday. The knowledge we gained from him will serve us well in the future. If you all want the best guide on Roberts, give Cliff a call.

Thanks again Cliff!

Still needed about 5 degrees to get them back up shallow good. Thanks again for inviting to go with yall. I was about to ster crazy.
