If you get neat Camp Freedon in Bagdad my Grandkids been trying to send fishing gear over and can not get an address and name to send it to. They collected stuff during the summer & we gave it to Give2thetroops. But we had read articule about Camp Freedom needing gear with their lake for R&R. Can you amagine going there for R & R and no fishing gear available for you to use or even buy?
I am American Legion Auxiliary and run a Wed. Night Bass Tourn for 34 weeks (starts Wed.) A Bass Open in Sept. A crappie T in April and adding a Catfish T in July (1st yr. When you come home come to N Texas & we will Hook U UP!!

Hello eddie: well ain't much going on here on lake Belton but it's fixin to start up on cats,lake is about 4 feet low with some rain maybe on the way...Be safe keep ya head down.

Eddie thanks for letting us all know how you're doing. I know September is a long time away but keep focused and it'll be here before you know it. Glad to hear your wife and son are doing well. Once you get back in TEXAS mark me into your calender and we'll get some fishing done. Looks like other guys on the forum have got you set up for the catfishing, but I remember your trip you took video on your trip to the coast, I'll do my best to hook you up on some stellar Salt Water Action Texas Style when you get back. lol thanks for the good comments guys, much appreciated. We will DEFINATLY all have to get together and do some fishing when I return! Fish Hauler, I wish I could make it to victory! I spent two weeks there last time I was here, tons of lakes there. If I do make it there I will let you know and we can catch some of Saddams Carp!

My nephew is on his 2nd trip over there, and he phoned me with good news this week: he caught some species of catfish in one of Saddam's lakes. That tells me there's hope for that part of the world... Once again, thank you, keep your head down, and shoot straight.

You keep your head down and shoot straight too, FishHauler. Avoided getting skunked on Ivie yesterday with one 15.50" white...I'll call it a win (kinda)
