I spoke to Mike at the park on Friday and he said the creeks were running a bit but the lake has not seen much of a rise yet. They were so dry down there that the ground is taking most of the water. The north ramp is still out of the water.

Not much Al. They got 3-4" of rain, but there wasn't much runoff because things were already so dry. I'd say the lake came up "maybe" 6 inches. That basically buys us another 5 weeks or so. We need a rain like that at Fairfield for about 20 days straight! smile

Things could be a little out of whack for the fish fry this year. Unless the lake comes up a couple of feet, there won't be any launching at the main ramp. Folks will just have to drive back around to the dining hall from the north ramp or pull up to the shore and then go back and load their boat later.

There's will be no launching at the Main ramp (south), however the north ramp is out of the water???

Yes the North ramp is out of the water. You can still launch if you have a shallow draft boat but the water line is at the end of the concrete ramp.

The water line at the south ramp is out past the end of the pier.

It did help, last week the water was 4 feet from the end of the ramp.
