I was wondering has anyone caught them around here and what they weighed?? I live in Georgetown and never fished for them but did catch a small one by accident when fishing for bluegill.

Lake Georgetown has some good ones, especially upriver around the trees.

Katman and Zee are correct. Georgetown does not have the numbers that Lake Travis has but there are some good ones on live perch up in the river timber at night. Go to LCRA website to find a good place to put your boat in on the Colorado, there are a few good spots you can get to bank fishing east of Austin within 30 miles. Travis will slow up for about the next month but, there are some nice ones up in the Pedernales, if you can get past all of the white bass anglers lol, a ton there this week.
