I redid the headliner in my 88 Blazer. It was a cloth liner glued to particle board. I was able to get the board off by removing the plastic molding. I cleaned it up, found some similar cloth at Wal-Mart and glued it on using a 3M spray adhesive. None of the glue showed through and it lasted until I got rid of the truck, maybe 4 or 5 years.

The secret is the spray glue.

my old monte carlo had several dozen pins holding up parts of the headliner. Small bits of foam would come out around the edges of the headliner when I was going a little (translated = way to darn) fast with the windows down. The pins were good for conversation (aka- what the hell is this......)

good times........... I miss that car.

the point is you can stick something in it and fix it real cheap if looks are not important. If looks are important take it somewhere and have it done.

What was that?
