Two of us are coming down to Texas at the end of the month...water is too hard to fish up here in MN.
Would you recommend the Lawrence or Navionics card for lake mapping.

navionics. the HD format on the contour lines is unmatched.

2009 premium is $149 and the 2008 premium is $99. Bass Pro carries them. either is an excellent choice. 2009 offers a few more lakes, more POI's(points of interest) and some updated info on the major tourney lakes.

Navionics it is...Cabelas has the 2008 for $99. Think that should work for the week we are at Ray Roberts.

Here's the difference in the two maps. Top is the Navionics, bottom os Lowrance.

mrppl2. try making them the same size images next time for a better comparison.

got to map data and select Navionics, then select the region your lake is in.

Where do you get a list of the lakes by region. I didnt see it on navionics site. They were just listed by state.

With all of the IT talent out there today Lowrance nad Navionics should go hire some players!
