I was born and raised in kingwood for 16 years.(Then i lived in NC for 10yrs.) I just moved back to KW and im trying to find the sweet spots. I've only found one good spot that without a doubt, has some Big LMB. Anyone else here live in the Kingwood area? My time is pretty much free, all the time, haha. So if you wanna go beat the bank for some LMB with me, drop me a line. Any advice on some secluded spots would be great too! thanks. Contact me: mcinnc@hotmail.com

I stayed in humble for a few weeks with some family and looked for fishing spot's all over KW..I found a few! The best one I can remember was off west lake houston pkwy..If your goin west on Kingwood Drive make a right on West Lake Houston pkwy and it's the first little bridge you pass over.I used to fish that bank and kill some big Cat's and Gar.Hope this helps {GoodLuck}

Go hit Atascocita Country Club on Monday's when they are closed. I grew up around there, and pulled some pretty decent bass out of those ponds back in the day.

try Atascocita Shores drive just north of fm 1960.turn right onto a little dirt rd that leads to Lake Houston and you can fish off of the bank there. Also i believe the bridge that Bolivar-rick said is very good to.It sits by Kings Crown Estates or something like that.I have caught some real good LMB and crappie there as well as very big whites.You can access it by either the Kingwood side or Humble side. The back of Kenswick subdivision at fm1960/kenswick drive has Jesse James park and is good ,and can lead you out to Lake Houston behind the mall.

If you would like to go with me to Lake Livingston dam or lake conroe you are welcome. You could meet me at the marina by the dam. I don't charge anything but if you would like to pay for some gas or the boat launch you are welcome to. Th ewhites should start going crazy with the water they are releasing now.

take Hamblen road off 59, follow across tracks,pass golf course,at stop sign turn right,turn right again like your going to apartments or the forest cove pool, turn left between apartments, you will see old boat ramp and lake. we used to put in there and access the river,big flood seald it off, small boat, float tube,canoe, hell, i used to put my skeeter in there, cant run big motor, used to cost 3 bucks. brings back memories, caught some good ones there. have fun.
