Did you keep it or release it?

If you kept it, I would say 5.5 lbs.
If you released it, you could say 8.5 lbs.

something I have done that might help u is make a measuring stick on my fishing rod.

I take a flexible paper ruler (like a paper tape measure, get at any walmart), and cut it down so I can just see the line marks and numbers, about 1/4 inch wide. Then I use scotch tape and tape it to my rod, just above the grips. I usually do about 24 inches. The scotch tape is clear, and keeps the ruler on there well.

If you want, before you tape it you can make marks indicating minimum length for various species. This way, you can just hold a fish up on your rod and you know if its legal or not. Plus its an easy reference if your taking pics by yourself.

6ish. Since the mouth looks so big in the 2nd pic and she's fat I'm tempted to guess more, but it's to hard to tell from the weird angle. Nice fish.
