what is the best hooks to use? I like circle hooks i havent had muck luck with other hooks.

thats what i ve been using found them at acadamey and they work great. my question is what type of hook the circle hook is a self setting hook. i mainly fish for fresh water reds and catfish i hate treble hooks

Nothing wrong with treble hooks that cutting at least one point off won't cure.

Dont know if there the best but they are pricy. Saltwater Mustad trebels for live baiting on the coast. Owners for soft plastics Circle hooks for cut baiting Mustad extra extra extra long shank pearch hooks

Gamakatsu hooks are what I use for all my soft plastic rigging for bass.

HOU or anyone that can answer,
Gamakatsu make different type of hooks (offset, circle, g-lock, etc); what is the best type for T-rig, Wacky, etc; or can you use the same hook for all of them?
