I know this is a long shot!!!! Saturday we fished in the nasty wind and coming across the lake from south shore we had some huge waves beat on us. After making it to the west side of the calliham unit, the coves north of the boat ramp and fishing for 30 mins, I found myself looking for my crankbait rod which was nowhere to be found. So it must have slid out from under my straps and fell out between the north point of calliham and the exposed brush, or got knock off in the first or second cove by the camping area. Its a gloomis crankbait rod w a curado. I know it may stay down there for 50 years but it makes me feel better putting this on here. I wonder what else is at the bottom of that lake?

Well I can tell you there is a Lowrance H2OC Handheld GPS with a Hot Maps chip & ram mount that was two weeks old at the time down in 16 ft. of water in Possum Creek. About a 500 dollar bill that I would of gone after if it wasn't loaded with gators. It is an aweful feeling when you work your tail off and lose stuff at the lake.

I have a BlackBerry Curve in 32' of water in Lake Fork and another one in 38' of water in Amistad. 11 months apart and my IT department manager still does not think it is funny.

Amistad is deeper than Fork.

Last summer on Falcon I was coming across supper heavy chop and watch my rod snap pop undone, needles to say I lost the whole left side. Just watched them fly out helplessly. 3 rods and reels all together: all reels were black revo sx's, and the rods where a $150 st croix, $150 castaway, and a $100 ARS. Thats a total of $850 dollars. We were in 30 ft of murky water too, I didnt even try to get them.

That was the only bad Falcon trip we ever had and I wont go back ever if the winds are stronger than 20 mph! That lake is a windsock, and great as it is, it is very difficult to fish on a windy day! However, we still caught about 15 fish, though nothing very big, all close to the ramp on a secrete ledge!

I have a good friend that dives and does "clean up days" during the summer at lakes (she goes to the bottom and cleans up trash). If anyone looses anything else, and you happen to have a GPS, mark it. If not PM me some really good directions to were you might have lost it. Something tells me if I told here there was a little money involved, she would gladly go look for stuff. Just a thought
