I will be fishing choke canyon on the 15th. I heard that alot of the basschamp fisherman will be there to practice. Where can I fish, catch fish and be out of they're way?

Well, I usually put in at South Shore but Calihan is closer to the trees. There is another ramp back up the creek that I've never been to. If the Bassers are there "en masse" they will be everywhere especially if you start catching fish. As I stated in another post, I like to work the edge of the trees where the water drops to 10'-12'. That is just where I've had the best luck. Sunday I saw a bunch of guys fishing in 5'-7' of water. We tried it there but caught no fish. It was slow Sunday anyway, that's why we changed to catfish.

Its a big lake in a lowly populated area. Don't worry about them, there's plenty of room and fish for everyone.
Fishing is always good, its the catching that varies.
