I didn't see it was tied to a rope, 42 also tore up a cast net of mine, and another spot bout midway on the right hand side as you're walking towards the lake from shore

Good catch....one of the JRB untapped resources.........as you were saying its unfortunate that their is a fish ban on this lake.

The current lake record for white crappie is 2.11 pounds.
I can't estimate a crappies weight very well, but what do you think the big one in the photo was?

I saw that cast net, if it was the one tied up. Some man told me there are Christmas trees sunk in there too. I have caught some crappie that would be close to the lake record there. I know the game warden will write you a ticket for taking fish from the lake, but what if you are only taking it to be weighed? Any one know the answer?

Better to buy a Berkley hand held scales than to get caught. But if it is the lake record I am sure there has to be a way to get it certified. Why is the lake banned?
