Has anyone done this? Any advice or tips on this to give me?

I have an 01 EZ Loader for a 21 ft bass boat.

How about changing to LEDs on the bass boat compartments, deck, etc... looking to upgrade those as well.

Easy. Just change the fixtures and make sure you have good ground.

Yeah it is pretty easy. Just direct replacement. LED's need a more secure gound than the old ones. Well worth the time and $. No more burned out bulbs!

I have LED's in my compartments but not on trailer. Thought about changing those as well until I saw the prices! Not enough bang for my bucks.

I just converted mine over. Spent around $130 for all lights. RVDirect.com.

I changed mine to LED's, piece of cake. Only did trailer, stop, turn, run, and all of the red and amber side & clearance marker lights.

Check out www.easternmarine.com

I got the Optronics Super LED's, fewer diodess, just as bright or brighter than most. They also carry Wesbar, TrukLite and other mfr's. Most all LED mfr's offer a lifetime replacement.

Eastern Marine allows you to just purchase the light fixture without the pigtail connector or rubber grommet, $17.99.

My trailer already had the pigtail connections for the existing stop, turn, run lamps and the existing rubber grommets from my old tail lamps were compatable.

If you need the pigtail connector & rubber rear light light grommets or bracket, they're just a few dollars more.

I got tired of spending $9.00 for replacement incandescent trailer lights every other year.

Might do my compartment lights to LED soon!

We have used them ever since they hit the market. Now the question arises. How many bulbs have to burn out before they become illegal? Best answer that we could come up with is---It must be seen 1 mile.
