Hey, guys, I am a bass fisherman, but was fishing a bass tournament on Grapevine today, and this ended up in the boat. I was told it is a smallmouth buffalo, but I am not sure, never caught one before. Anyway, just thought I would share.

Nice one...I bet you thought you done had big bass and the biggest stringer all with one fish!
Everytime I see something like this reminds of the time my buddy who shall remain unnamed (I sometimes call him Drum Boy) hung what we were certain was a good striper (fishing in a slough off the river using a Houdini Shad soft jerkbait)...until he got it near the shore and we found it to be an 8 lb. FW Drum.
No fish is too good for the grease.

I bet you thought, I've one hell of a bass before you got it up to the boat and seen it was a buff.
