Went to lake Corpus Christi this morning to fish for a few hours. The winds were strong but i managed to hook four fish up to almost 3lbs. Not to bad but then my motor started smoking. It is at the shop now and it might be a few weeks till i get her back. Hopefully there will be some backseats available for the next couple of weeks.

I fish here quite a bit. It is low at this time so you may have to start fishing the ends of peirs if it gets warm enough. I like pernitas point area and the rocks on the west side of the lake.

My family has had a lake house there off 888 for a long time. I grew up fishing this lake as well. I caught my fish on a spinner bait around the park area. all were very shallow on some cover when you could find it. I wanted to hit the fiesta cove and pernita's point but the motor problems didnt help at all. It was my voltage something that fried. not good atall.

Was going to fish somewhere this morning, but when I got up at 5 the wind was already howling at my house. My wife told me I had too much to do around the house today also. Guess I better get at it.

Hope someone got to fish................
