Well, not being as brave as Benbrook Guide, I didn take the boat especially at night. But I am here to state it was like surf conditions at the Baja Beach point on Benbrook last night till about 9, then it got worse. Like pictures of the Bay of Fundy, the water level got higher (a little) as the wind increased. Only thing, not even the whiting bit......only some yellow bass. I thought the the hybrids might be on nighttime raids on the shoal. Bait was not real plentiful, but some was present.....Maybe next time. It was a windy adventure.

Well, this morning I thought the wind had died, but, alas! early, it was a surprise north wind!! True, I think when I over fret about the wind I wind up staying home too much. Benbrook is slowly but steadily coming up.

Hey, I meant no malice. Not very smart is going out this afternoon and mostly looking at many fish on the fish finder and not catching fish. Did pass the game warden's inspection at the ramp with flying colors!....Was a nice afternoon.

Non taken at all bud.

The only day this week (today) that the wind didnt blow 25+mph and i stayed home. Go figure.

Benbrook is pretty unconsistant when the strongs wind lay down quickly. Kinda like a cold front it takes a couple days usually for the fish to catch on to what there supposed to do. grin
