Looks like another windy day . The Bass Champs aren't letting it slow them down . Plenty of noise down there and lights. I plan on going down and watch them take off with 300 hp out boards . A sight to see.

I bought a Low 520 and I am really happy with it . I have a 510 on the bow now and seems like I am doing better. The 520 or 522 are coming down $399 and the 510 are $329 . Of course the reason why is Lowrance are coming out with the HD'S so all of the X's are no longer. But they are super good I think.

Good Morning All!

Been a while since I have had time to post, but I have been on radio listening silence.

TB.... if you go with the 997, you will be very pleased.Yes they are pricey, but worth every penny. I throughly enjoy mine... that is when it sees water. I have got to get busy and get the foot replaced on my boat and soon! But I digress... I am spoiled after using the NB 997. It will open your eyes to a lot of terrain, coverage, and areas that you have never seen before. My favorite use is to scan an area that I want to fish, use the cursor to mark where you spot fish or cover as you go, then turn around and nav to each of your marks using the GPS. You will also find those dumpsters, porta johns, etc that were washed into the lake during the last flood.

If you PM me your email address, I can send you a few screen shots from mine on Belton.

Oh yeah... I would stay away from the NVB Combo bundles. You cannot update the maps in those and sometimes they are a few years old. I prefer getting the NAV chip and sticking in a slot, that way you can update your maps.

Good morning John!

Went to look at the Hybrid contest thread last night. Looks like some great fish are being caught! Congrats to all that have placed on the board!

No kidding... got to get my foot ordered. By the time I get the thing on and the boat lined out for another season, it will be all over. Speaking of which, need to work on the boat today... after I finish the yard work.

Best of luck to all that brave the wind this weekend.
