Projected wind is 22mph out of the south. That's not good. I would actually add 5-10 mph to that projection, because they can never get it right.

If you decide to go out, I would put in somewhere on the south side and stay near the shoreline. I hope you have a big boat. If I remember correctly, RR is a bad lake to be on with a strong South wind.

You may want to consider:

South winds 15 to 25 mph.

A tad windy for a canoe I would think.

Maybe check the creeks for sandies in your canoe?

If I went in the canoe I would definitly be way back in the creeks in the north end of the lake. I was just wondering if there was enough water for there to be any sandies running up any of the creeks or the Trinity. I was just trying to find out if anybody knew if the sandies were running and where.

I was thinking about going up in the creek in canoe this weekend, if you went in the creek I would like to hear if they are in the creeks.

Went to upper end of Wolf Creek to get out of wind and really didn't think I would find any sandies and I didn't but I caught the [censored] of black bass. Used 3 inch Rapalas and beattle spins most small fish but biggest on the Rapala was about 4 pounds. I will chase the sandies after this next cold snap.
